I think that it is kinda stupid that we are trying that hard to dig out oil. I mean why don't we just find better types of cars that don't run on energy. They are starting to do this more and more but still, we could put more effort into making new more efficient cars instead of looking and trying so hard just to power a car! We could use bikes or just walk. Maybe this would be easier if we could build things closer together like malls and houses!

I agree with megan, but I also think it was a good idea to inject Bacilus into oil wells to increase production but overall I think crude oil should be banned and be replaced by solar, hydro-electric, and wind energy. LONG LIVE RENEWABLE ENERGY! Down with crude oil.
Also, I agree that things should be built closer together so that we dont have to use very much energy to get places.

380 billion barrels of oil are lying in the ground. Doesn't anyone think that digging out oil is bad for our earth? I mean, it can hardly be good to have barrels of oil infecting our earth. We should dig them out, not to use them, but to properly dispose of them. Megan's post is something I agree with (to a certain degree) but it is important to get these barrels of oil out of our earth. The reason that we can't use bikes and walk places is because, as megan said, everything is very spread out. At the same time, you can't have a bunch of things super close and then have nothing in certain areas.
