Did you know archaeologists use similar techniques in order to figure out where ancient mummies, and other human remains originated?

we saw remains of a man at Jamestown that they could tell had corn in his diet. They could tell that he had been there while he was a child but was probably born in England. They found this out about him from his teeth, but it is a similar technique.

In my opinion, this technology can really help historians unravel mysteries on skulls they find,.(If the skulls still have hair). This was a very interesting article.:)

It's so amazing how technology and science have advanced to the point where you can tell if someone lives in Africa, France, or in your own state just by looking at their hair! I wish the article said more on how the did it. Did the scientist or scientists use chemicals on it, or did they use another method? I wish I knew, because whatever the process, I bet it is interesting.

that is so cool that the amount of water in hair can solve a crime. water is good for you, or bad, i don't know which i think it's good. Isotopes, and criminals shave. if you see a guy robbing a bank with a beard he didn't take the advice.
