WOW! That's really cool. I knew that microbes could live in harsh environments, like in the hottest volcanoes and in the saltiest oceans, but under a GLACIER?!? This article amazed me and showed me that there is something living almost anywhere.
This blog was very interesting. Like Ryan stated above,we knew that microbes could live in harsh environments but not without oxygen and under a glacier. It was cool how water can rust, because we thought that only metals could rust, although if the water had metal particles inside this might lead to rusting!?!
I knew about extremophiles (spelling?) already, accept I never suspected that there is a "brew" in the South Pole that contains some vital ingredients in human blood (iron, water). It would be funny if there was a "Vulcan Falls" somewhere, where there was green water.
