This is really cool! Before I read this article I didn't know that butterflies could be so fascinating! I'd really like to see one of these up close. I always liked how butterflies had cool patterns on them.
how interesting! LEDs in nature! did the butterfly get a patent for the idea, or did the "inventor" of LEDs steal it? or is it a 'coincidence'? it's really cool how nature and modern technology have so much in common. also, I liked the Oreo analogy that the author of the article used. Although, the meter and nanometer, and billionth of this, and 2 millionth of that just really confused me. can someone explain it to me?
