I thought this was really interesting! On my mom's Japanese news, it said almost what they said in this article. They weren't specific, though. They didn't mention the Tsushima Current causing the jellies to move into the Sea of Japan. I think the Chrysaora melanaster has a cool shape. I've never seen a UFO shaped jelly fish before! Though I am allergic to fish, I am worried about the fish because their food is being eaten by Mnemiopsis leidyi. I'm worried about the fish because PEOPLE and ANIMALS eat fish!! If vegetation eventually runs out, people and animals eat fish. If the fish are gone, some life will starve. That is more that right now.

I think that this article made perfect scene. I think they balanced the idea of the good of the jellyfish bloom with the bad. They stated how they came to their conclusions.. I really liked it

that's really interesting! which type of jelly was your favorite? I like the crystal jelly (i think). Normally I'd have criticism and questions, but this article covered everything except how to CURE a jellyfish sting. If anyone knows how, please tell me. The article was very long, so I had trouble finishing it. I agree with alexis on how cool the Chrysaora Melanaster having a cool shape. UFOs in the ocean!

I really enjoyed reading this article about jellyfish. One time, I was at the beach, and one of my family friends got stung by a tiny jellyfish. I agree with Bea and would like to learn about a cure for a jellyfish sting. It would have come in handy that time at the beach. I think that picture of that HUGE jellyfish from Japan was awesome, but I would have been afraid to lay next to a giant Jellyfish. I also agree with Alexis' concern about the leidyes eating the fish's food, and also how that affects humans and animals eating the fish.
