It looks hilarious and the jumping video was funny. I think this new species of frogfish is fantastic and fun to watch.

I think that the new species, Histiophryne psychedelica is very interesting because it is like a frog fish and has a flat face with eyes facing forward, like humans, and a huge mouth. This animal that was found was found by some suba divers on a tour that started a year ago. I was amazed that if it was in the shallow part of the reef that no one has found it before now.

Perfect for survival!

I mean, it looks exactly like coral, so not any predators can use it as food.

well I think that the fish won't get eaten any time soon. I almost think that it blends in so well that it could move without a predator noticing it. I also think that the video was funny and, keep this quiet, but I think he looks like a bloated chipmunk with pink stripes. The artical was great

Lena's comment is so hilarious!

And I do agree with you, Lena-they will definitely survive with ease.

Hsitiophryne psydchedelica is so cool. It is perfectly camouflaged on the reef, but that could not have been a real fish. I want to eat him! I don't see how a fish can look like that.

I think that the frogfish won't die for a while, and may evolve into another species. Say this ten times fast: Happy Hopping Hippie Histiophryne

This new species of frogfish is very interesting. It fit in pretty well with its surroundings, and it was funny the way it bounced and glided. It seems to be pretty reckless, but its skin protects it from the coral. It seems odd that scientists haven't seen these before.
