I think it's cool that some sticky goo that's used for DIAPERS can help clean up radioactive material!! But I have one question. If the scientists went in to clean up the dirty bomb, wouldn't they get sick or die too?
It's so cool how diaper goo is now used to clean up radioactive materials. WIERD! It's cool how sodium polyacrylate was made to clean baby waste, and now its being used to clean bomb waste
I remember on the first day of school when we used this stuff in class! When we tried to pour water onto someones head the water would come out.(result of the "supergoo"
I think that the sticky goo has a really good purpose, to clean up radioactive material. I think that it is also really cool that crystals are put in diapers i never knew that. So when I was 1,2,3 I was wearing crystals. How cool? really cool! If there ever is a attack like the ones that the supergoo can clean up than I know that if will help...a lot!
The goo is really cool. It's amazing that it will help us clean up from terrorist attacks. The experiment that we did in class on polymers helped me further understand how polymers really work. Who knew that the stuff in diapers would end up helping our nation against terrorist attacks.
I think that this is really cool, and will help the future. It is interesting that only small crystals can change so much. We finally have a way to clean up bombs, and just in case it ever happens, SUPERGOO TO THE RESCUE!!!
That's awesome that this goo can be used for something besides cleaning up after baby: collecting radioactive waste without harming anybody. I wonder if the same thing could be done with rubber.
I think that this is a great new tool. The only problem I have with this is the fact that it absorbs a lot of water, but at least it prevents us from getting sick because of the bomb.
I can't believe that something you put in diapers, DIAPERS of all things, can clean up national monuments. That's really amazing! Megan, you're right! the supergoo was the stuff in the cup that Ms. Ghazarian put on Melanie's head! (and Parsa, you spelled weird wrong)

If they put it on before, they could take it off in radiation suits. Fascinating, but creepy.

Yay! Supergoo to the rescue! Hooray for polymers!

Oh, thanks Howard.
