That is really interesting! I wonder if it is about the same thing as the toilet turning a different way if you are in either the northern or southern hemisphere?

It doesn't seem like this would work, but you never know because anything is possible in science. I wonder why salt can balance the egg so precisely. Why do people think that on equinoxes, the sun's gravitational pull can make an egg balance. I personally think that it is a random idea to think that the sun's gravitational pull can make an egg balance, but they might know what they are thinking, and it might work.
that's really odd. the article left me sort of confused, because it didn't explain it very clearly. although, the way that salt can hold up an egg is very cool. I think I might try this today. It sounds interesting.
I think that it is very interesting that the eggs will balence better in the spring and the fall better than summer and winter! Before this, i didn't know that salt was a perfect cube. Interesting article!
IT WORKS!!!! Today is September 23 and it balanced. This was a great Eggsperiment! I also didn't know that salt crystals were cubes either. I still don't get why the sun's gravitational pull can make an egg balance. Well, I know it balanced. It really can. I accidently knocked it over the first time, but I did it again! :) :)
