OH MY GOSH!!!! This is such a cool invention! Maybe, I'll only need to take this chip every so often, for my medication and shots! You told us about polymers in class, and now it all really makes sense. I hope this will come out soon enough. It's a pain to take pills every day!
This is an amazing new invention, I REALLY don't like needles and injections, so this invention would really help me, also, It's amazing that they can find the time that it will release and input just enough polymers.
i wuld feel r33ly creeped out if i had a microchip in my body and what if terrorists made it so that they would explode, okay, just a thought, but it is reely creepy that we could die from something that could save us ben
The thing I don't get is when is what if the plastic chip accidentally slipped into the blood stream and enters the heart like a sharpenal from a grenade. Wouldn't that be a bit dangerous?
this seems really cool. I mean, not many people like shots, and I especially hate them, so this seems like a good idea. although, what if the chip contained the wrong amount of medicine, or the wrong medicine altogether? it'd be easier to make mistakes with this process. also, I'd like to know how the drug gets inside the chip.I'm not sure if I'd want this injection.
I do hate shots. I also hate taking medicine. I like this invention a lot, but I see where Justin and Bea are going by where it can go wrong. I wouldn't want something to endanger my health. OH MY GOSH!!!! I just realized this: This blog is called a scientific literacy!!! Scientific Literacy: Understanding basic scientific terms and principals well enough so that you can evaluate information, make personal decisions, and take part in public affairs. That's what we are doing when we post on this blog!!!!!!! :)
This is very cool, but very bad for the medical industry because there will be no more pills and shots. All of the factories that make pills will be shut down. Many people will lose their jobs. The shots will have the same effect.
I think that this new chip could save a lot of time and pain, especially if you need to have many doses of medicine. I wonder if they can put more than one medicine in the chip?
Erkh. A MICROCHIP??? Yes, I hate shots as much as the next person, but still, there could be frauds that could destroy you from the inside out. Instead of sealing polymers in there someone could put POISON in there. The chip does seem like a great idea but the dudes (Skylar and Aaron) are right— people will lose their jobs + they will start to complain= a. the government is overthrown by angry mobs or b. a zillion homeless people on the streets because they have no money. I think it's a good idea, but we can't use too much technology or else machines will take over everything.
My whole life, I have always dreaded shots. They hurt so much, and they don't even do anything! I am so glad that scientists invented the microchip to put in your body! It won't hurt, and it should actually work! This is an incredible piece of technology, and I might enjoy going to the doctor. There is only one problem, (Similar to Justin's problem.) What if its sharp side hits a bone or an organ? The microchip is a good and bad idea.
I think this sounds cool. I wonder how they would put the chip in where it needed to be. You might also have trouble finding the spot that a chip could be inserted. You also could say that the expense of having surgery every time you needed a shot would make a serious toll on your heath care budget. It would take $ to make the implants put the implants in and take care so the body won't react or attack the chip.

Yes that last part of my second post had nothing to do with this, but I just remembered that. Sorry.
