COW POWER! That is the most interesting article. I didn't know that cows could make that much dung in a day! That times a thousand cows...Thats about 30,000 gallons of cow dung! That really must smell. :( It is a really great way not to continue making greenhouse gases. I think that these geniuses should continue doing what they're doing.

That is definitely a smelly idea, but it is a great method for creating electricity. I never thought cows could produce so much dung! Who knew?

Global Warming...ingrediants:Pollution, Sun, Cow Manure. They even mention the greenhouse gasses. Anyway, I think it is a good idea to use cow poop to make electricity. I think it is a bad idea to sell cow poop. I wonder if their house smells because the energy is coming from cows.

that was an awesome article! I watched a bill nye show (not the kid version) and he said that cow... um... how should I say this... emissions play a big part in global warming. The gas is supposed to enhance the greenhouse effect or something. this is interesting because the manure is cost efficient for the family (so they don't have to buy bedding and fertalizer) and energy efficient (because they turn it into energy). and it's also cool how the cows just step over the squeegee! :)

Eew, imagine having that maneur tank as your swimming pool! I definitely think that there are much better ideas to get electricity, but it is a creative idea. It is amazing that the technology turns cow maneur into power! What if they run out of maneur space in the tank. Also, what if one of the cows doesn't step over the squeegee? I also don't believe that cows poop so much! Also, it could be a bad idea because if a cow gets sick, it would spread through almost every cow, and some of them would die! Other cows would be useless. Also, what if there is a fire where the cows are. Every cow would die, and you have no more cow power. Those are the reasons that I think using cow maneur for electricity is not ideal. But a very good thing about it is that it is good for the environment! It is entirely natural, and there is no gas or pollution envolved. Whoever thought of the idea of using cow maneur for electricity is really helping global warming, and the environment. Overall, I find the article amusing because it is funny to use cow maneur out of all things to make efficient electricity.

That is a very new, strange, and exciting way of using electricity. I thought that josh's comment in class definitely interested me in how cows affect global warming. A cow must be very hard to take care of with all that manure that it lets out of it's body.

That was interesting. I learned that they helped the farmer's life a lot by saving their money, helping the inviornment and helping create energy to sell to others to use. I think it was also very creative that the farmers used something they had on their farm and used it so usefully. They had such a great idea to use waste in such an incredible way.

The idea of powering a home with cow dung to me just sounds disgusting. But if it works for them, it works for me. I wonder if they use corn, manure, or gasoline to power their vehicles

Cow manure for electricity? I know I'm being a bit paranoid but I agree with Freddy AKA mulbytime. Instead of cow manure, Solar elctricity is a better idea

That was a very interesting article. I found a little bit gross. I also agree with Alexis and Daniel. Imagine swimming in a pool of manure. I wonder how they discovered that manure makes electricity. Maybe there was lighting and it struck the manure. I can't believe that one cow can make about 30 gallons of manure each day. Cows making electricity for 400 homes is a big deal. Maybe if people realize how important cows are they won't kill them as much for beef.

Cow-Emissions? That's interesting Bea! After thinking this over, I sort of think that cow dung is still efficient, but solar panels are good. I agree a little bit with Justin and Mulbytime. AKA Freddy. I will stick to my first post that cow dung is still more efficient. It's also cheaper! I also agree with Bea that the way the cows step over the squeegee! Ugh, my friend's dad called me squeegee by accident. :( :)

I think that it is useful to use cow manure as electricity. I think that it is great that they found another outlet for electricity, like solar and wind power. Also, the dry manure produces odorless bedding for the cows. Overall, it was a very interesting article.

I think that it would be cool if the whole world could be traslated to COW-POWER! It would help slow global warming and save electricity.
